Exclusive Territory with 10,000 SMEs
Yes that's 10,000 SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises)! That's far more than you get with any similar offering from other companies in our sector. Our territories are postcode based, so that you always know whether a prospective customer is yours or someone else's. And any larger companies based in your area are a bonus!
Full training and support
As a new Partner, you will attend a 3 day training course at Metanym's headquarters in Doncaster. On that course you will learn the secrets of our success, which will become the secrets of your success. The initial 3 day course covers our company ethos, capabilities and background, basic technical training (don't worry, it's nothing too taxing, but it helps to be aware of what can be done), and sales and marketing training. As well as your initial training, there are regular opportunities to gain further business and web related knowledge and skills through our online sytems or through training courses and seminars held most months at Metanym HQ.
Operations Manual
Your training is supported and supplemented by a detailed Operations Manual which covers every aspect of your day to day running of your Metanym Partner business, from use of online systems, to advice on accountancy and tax issues, and sales and marketing advice. Combined with our training, this provides you with a real "out of the box" solution for running a successful web related business. But don't think we are so prescriptive that we don't listen to you - we certainly do - we listen to the experiences of our local Partners and build on them, learning from what works and what doesn't work. You can also share best practice with your fellow Partners via our online systems.
Your own search engine optimised website
As part of launching your local Metanym Partner business, we will produce a local Metanym website for you. This will be search engine optimised for your local area so that people searching for "web design" or similar in your local area on Google will naturally find your website and be able to contact you direct. Your website will also be part of our main corporate website, so that enquiries from companies who find our main website will also be directed to you if they are from your area. This is all part of making sure that awareness of the Metanym brand in your area is built up as quickly and as effectively as possible.
A great income
You'll make around £1000 on most medium sized websites, with the potential for much more on larger projects, so delivering just one website a week (a very achievable target) would give you an income of around £50k a year. The way it works is that for each website there is an agreed build cost (our price to produce) and an agreed RRP (your price to the customer). You are free to improve on the RRP if you able, and you keep the difference. We take care of all of the invoicing for you and pay you your Partner Profit (the difference between actual selling price and the build cost) immediately the customer has paid. Because we charge customers a percentage in advance at the beginning of the project (this is normal practice in the industry), your cash starts flowing as soon as the customer has signed up.
Networking membership
Networking might sound daunting, but it really isn't! A cornerstone of Metanym's success has been our attendance at local networking events, whether it be the local Chamber of Commerce, BNI, or other similar business network. We have found that referral and word of mouth based marketing really is the most effective way of building your name and contact sphere, and so the Partner Programme includes your first year's membership of an organisation like BNI, which will really help to get things off the ground for you. It worked for us!
State of the art online systems
You will be given access to our state of the art online management systems. This allows you to track and act on sales opportunities, produce online quotes and have your customers sign up and pay online for their websites, as well as giving you access to a wealth of backup material, and interraction with Metanym HQ, your fellow Partners, and also your customers, who have access to the system themselves so they can track the progress of their website build, approve designs and so on.
Professionally designed promotional materials
You will receive professionally designed business stationery, such as business cards, compliment slips and letterhead, so you can operate locally under the Metanym brand and enables you to really look the part. Access to further marketing materials can be gained easily through our online systems.
